The Organizing Committee

The Organizing Committee (OC) of the Youth Session consists of more than 20 young volunteers from all over Switzerland aged 17 to 25. Almost all of these members are former participants of the Youth Session. The OC is responsible for determining the program of the event, for organizing the accomodation and food, the preparation of the topics for the group discussions and for making contacts with various politicians. The work of the OC is divided among various departments, whose members work independently towards their own goals. The results and further planning are discussed in regular meetings. During the planning and conducting phase of the project, the OC is supported by the SAJV project team. 

Through their involvement in the Youth Session, the young people can have their say, participate in shaping the project and help to make decisions, with the goal to develop their citoyenneté.
