Asylum procedures for unaccompanied minors
In 2010, the Youth Session called for "preferential treatment of unaccompanied migrant minors in the asylum procedure" and a reduction of the asylum procedure, in particular of the waits. The parliament followed up on this petition as part of the 2012 revision of the Asylum Act.

Decriminalisation of private poker tournaments
In 2010, a parliamentary initiative to decriminalise private poker tournaments with stakes of less than CHF 200 was submitted by the Youth Session, which was adopted by the Federal Assembly in the form of a motion by Lukas Reimann (SVP, SG) in 2012 and included in the new Gambling Act in 2017.
