Competence Centre for Combating Cybercrime

The participants in the 2002 Youth Session called on the Federal Council to actively promote a centre of competence for combating cybercrime at the international level and to intensify corresponding efforts in Switzerland. In 2003, a motion to this effect by member of the National Council Jacqueline Fehr (SP, ZH) was adopted by parliament and later implemented by the Federal Department of Justice and Police.
